Obviously, it's better to capture in the original photography, all the detail needed to convey the richness of the actual product. But this was not the case in this photograph. I extensively retouched the products but avoided making them look retouched. I selected every watch face hand and increment and bumped them up so they could be clearly seen in tight focus. I retouched the cases and bands to enhance them as well.

For this SPW makeover issue (AFTER), I created a contemporary cover without having the visuals to do it. The network supplied headshot of Lynn was generic. The colors were all washed out and Lynn looked very bad (BEFORE). I “fixed her teeth” by hiding her her canines behind her lower lip. I also smoothed-out many of the lines in her neck and brought more life to her face. I created the PR logo background from Internet swipes. I wanted to convey that the photo was shot at a media event.
