Every creative wants to redesign a magazine, cover to cover. “Silk Purse Women” enjoyed good circulation but began hitting a wall because a makeover was required. The yellow cover in the center was published before I started. My first two issues are above that. After my redesign, AD pages increased by 50 percent. I redesigned the logo and cover page to contemporize it and make the celebs pop (I redesigned all internal pages, departments as well as the editorial). See "Retouching/Illust."

Don't laugh, but this startup wanted "outrageous outdoor" with "shocking logo development." I reluctantly complied.
